i wish ii could remember my Ggrandparents... only one i had the priviledge of
meeting but that was a very long time ago... but mom was the diciplinarian in
our family since dad was away on borad ship in the USN most of my formative
years... i can't say why she was as harsh as she was at times but in later
years, it seemed like she was trying to make up for it but too much time, pain
and anger had gone by by then... then it was too late to fully express the
heartache and pain that had been then all those years... pancreatic cancer took
her two or three years ago and that made things even worse... but i still try
to carry on without falling apart... even now while writing this... and she
makes three... first my oldest son, then my father's mother and then my
mother...
