I went out and got the nutritional analysis - knowing to whom I was posting the
recipe. I used http://www.myfoodrecord.com/ from the University of Illinois.
It's a little convoluted for casual use. But, once established - (getting the
set-up done and saved) it becomes much easier.

Many people like mint and chocolate beverages. I am not one of those. I think I
may have overdosed on Welch's Junior Mints when I was a lad.

I, on the other hand, don't mind the half-slice of cheezoid. But, I hate it
when they scrimp on the tartar sauce.

Breakfast is pretty much a sameness for most people. I find that McD's has a
decent sausage - both in their Sausage McMuffins and in the breakfast burrito.
They have recently introduced a steak burrito and seem to be pushing it ...
but, I haven't tried it yet. OTOH, acting on a tip from our missing moderator I
sometimes will get some sausage McMuffins (they are a dollar a holler without
the egg) and take them home and add my own egg puck - so I have a Sausage-Egg
McMuffin for about U$1.10 instead of U$2.75 that the Mickey D's gets. YIKES! A
buck seventy-five for a single hard cooked egg??? Jesse James used a horse and
a gun to do that sort of thievery.   Bv)=

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: McDonald's Apple McMuffins
 Categories: Breads, Fruits, Dairy
      Yield: 12 Servings
 
    1/2 c  Skim milk
      1 lg Egg
      4 ts Plain yogurt *
    2/3 c  Sugar
      1 c  Apple; peeled, grated
    1/2 ts Cinnamon
  1 1/2 c  Self-rising flour
 
  * Can use 2 ts yogurt and 2 ts applesauce for more moist
  muffins.
  
  Grease 12 muffin wells. Preheat oven to 400øF/205øC.
  Combine all ingredients in medium mixing bowl using 
  mixer on medium speed. When completely combined, stir
  into it self-rising flour only until flour is completely
  moistened & dissolved.
  
  Do not over-mix. You don't want to beat this like a cake
  batter or muffins will be heavy and maybe dry after baked.
  Divide batter equally among the 12 prepared muffin wells.
  Bake about 18-20 minutes until a tester comes out clean.
  
  Cool a few minutes before loosening and removing from
  muffin tins.
