I hear you... and have seen the same when I go away...  :)   With our
proximity to nice Wegmans stores, I usually mean Wegmans nowadays when I
say store... especially to other area people...

I've been in that one a time or two, when in the area for some do at my
sister's, down the road a little piece...  I much prefer the smaller
stores, as long as they have what I'm after, which is most of the time. 
Once in a while, I'll go to a larger Wegmans to get something particular
that I can't get at my usual one...

Meijer sounds like a nice enough place...  :)   As long as the quality
of the merchandise is good, anyway... :)
