Not mine either...  When I have had Chips Ahoy, there's something else
in them that repeats distastefully for me, coconut, maybe...

Growing up, Daddy made oatmeal cookies, usually with raisins, sometimes
with candied fruit (like for Christmas)... otherwise we had what he
bought for cheap at the store (and Chips Ahoy and their ilk were more
expensive than he was paying for, anyway), generic sandwich cookies,
sugar wafers, ginger snaps...  don't remember what-all else...

It was a while ago now... dunno how long, maybe 5-10 years ago, even...?
And I was negligent also in not getting their names and addresses, or in
even complaining to the GS office... as I remember, I didn't even think
about it until much later... didn't really pay attention to the fact I'd
been scammed until long after cookie season was over... and then
realised I'd never received my cookies... Probably Thin Mints, too... ;) 
One of those crazy times in my life with too much to keep track of...

Wise advice...  horse, of course, is long gone now... ;)   But should
the occasion arise again, I probably would...  or wouldn't be ordering
from the door-to-door (young) shysters anyway...  (G)
