Yep.. the trouble with labs is they typically bark at every bird flying
overhead, every car that passes, a dog 7 backyards distant.. so it's likely we
heard the dogs carrying on, and just yelled "shaddup" to them out there.. well,
that'll learn us (g).

eewww.. no thanks :) Now if they were like cats and only left a stump of a tail
like when cats get chipmunks, that would be different... but I don't think
they'd be so kind. (g)

We've had those in the house in Windsor, so far not here thank goodness. Maybe
word is out in the neighborhood "Crazy pets here, stay clear" hehe Though I did
hear blue jays kicking up a storm in the summer several times.

It was funny with that mouse too.. two of the cats were in my son's room with
it.. they just watched it, and one of them even tried to lay down next to it..
Maybe the cat was trying to play "spider and fly" eek.

I read about those after you mentioned them.. never heard them called that, but
I recognized the pictures... and yeah, boy do they sound nasty.. And thinking
about it.. I remember reading about the coyotes in NYC as well.. insane.
