Ärende: Railroad Stuff

Hi Ruth,

We'll find out tomorrow. He's got a narrowing of the spaces in the L4,
L5 area which is causing numbness in his leg/foot, among other issues.

The fire department showed up at the one girl's dorm at my college a
lot. Some of the kitchenttes were on the side of the dorm built into the
hill and the venting system was less than optimal, triggering the smoke
alarms. Of course the fire department rolled; it was a fairly frequent
occurance and almost a standing joke.

Slowly but surely Dad is divesting of various pieces. Some were bought
as investments but the market hasn't appreciated that much and he knows
he can't hold them forever. Some will be packed up and sent to
grand/great grand children, some will probably be sold off or sent to
the local auction house.

As in railroad imprint or china that had been used on a rail line? Dad
doesn't have any of the latter but has some collector's plates (gifts)
featuring trains. Those are not for food use tho.

I've stayed in semi touch with some classmates. Used to hear from one
regularly around Christmas but haven't, the past couple of years, a big
teddy bear of a guy.

Sounds funny but I suspect there are such things going on now.
