Sorry for your luck. I shop the local K-Mart with fair regularity. The store is
45+ years old (I was one of the opening department heads - camera department)
and is still clean, and well lit, with aisles one can navigate down whilst
pushing a shopping trolley - even if there is another trolley coming the other
way. It's not as huge as the re-done Target. And the aisles are not so
squinched-up as China Mart seems to be every time I am forced by circumstance
to visit one to check a price or something (I never buy from Wally World or
Sam's Club as a matter of principle).

For my hard-earned $$$ this pair of local K-Marts are good examples of mass
merchandising done right. I sort-of miss the deli/cafeteria ... but at both
K-Mart locations there is either some form of burger snatcher or Popeyes (out
south) or casual Mexican available.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: S. S. Kresge/K-Mart Chilli Burgers #2
 Categories: Beef, Vegetables, Sauces, Chilies
      Yield: 12 servings

  1 1/2 lb Ground beef
    1/2 c  Vinegar
    1/2 lg Onion; chopped fine
      2    Ribs celery; chopped
    1/2 lg Bell pepper; chopped fine
    1/2 c  + 1 tb brown sugar
  1 1/2 tb Chilli spice mix
      1 tb Paprika
      1 ts Salt
    1/4 ts Pepper
      6 oz Can tomato paste
     15 oz Can tomato sauce
    3/4 c  Catsup
      1 tb Worcestershire sauce

  Put vinegar in large pot or slow cooker. Add all remaining
  ingredients except meat and cook slowly on low until sauce
  is as thick as desired. Saute ground beef and stir in.

  Serve on soft white buns.

  Makes 12 sandwiches
