I do so frequently. At McCormick and Schmick's, I generally find
the meat of exceptional quality and more carefully prepared than
the fish, of which I will usually eat only if it is raw. At Legal
I get raw oysters, steamed mussels or clams, fried clams or squid,
or a burger. I go to these places because 1. people ask me to take
them there; 2. they are convenient; and/or 3. I like the meat. It
takes a reputable indie place to get me to order finfish.

 They are like the "ugly American"

There are any number of reasons. Most of which are variations
on "to be a good sport."

Railroad terrorism is a time-honored but still used method of
getting attention. They didn't always have big flying kerosene-
containing tubes of metal to use, you know.

servings: 8

8 oz cream cheese, softened
6 oz cocktail shrimp, chilled
1 sm bottle cocktail sauce
1 box Wheat Thins

Place the cream cheese in a block on a chilled 
plate. Drain and rinse the cocktail shrimp and 
place on top of the cream cheese. Pour a liberal 
amount of the cocktail sauce over the cream 
cheese and shrimp. Use the crackers to chip 
away at the block.

Serves: 6 to 8

1 lb bacon 
8 oz sausage links 
1 bag cubed hash browns 
12 eggs 
syrup

Cook bacon and sausage in skillet. Put them in a pot and 
cover with lid to keep warm.
 
In skillet, cook hash browns until they are crisp on the 
outside. Mix in eggs with done hash browns. Stir until eggs 
scramble in with hash browns and are thoroughly cooked.
Add bacon and sausage and stir.

Add syrup as desired.

TRAIN WRECK CASSEROLE

servings: 4

1 lb hamburger meat
1 lg onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
oil
1 cn pork & beans
Garlic salt
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Bacon strips

Brown meat, onion, and pepper in small amount of
oil. Add beans. Pour into casserole dish and top 
with  bacon. Bake 30-35 min at 350F.
