I still carry a Bicentennial "IKE" dollar - which is, as you point out, easy to
identify by feel in my pocket. And I can tell the half-dollar coin by feel,
also. But, even with the different colour and weight of the current (yellow
metal) dollar coins one still has to look. Much like one has to look to
determine the difference between a penny and a dime as the difference in
size/weight are so minor that only a blind person generally can tell the
difference by feel. (1c and 10c for our off-shore friends).

I have said for years that we should ditch the paper dollars in favour of a
dollar coin. And, in agreement with Glen - ditch the penny and round amounts to
the nearest nickle.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Marinated Grilled Prawns
 Categories: Seafood, Citrus, Bbq, Herbs
      Yield: 4 Servings

     16    Jumbo prawns; shelled,
           - deveined
    1/2 c  Lemon juice
      1 tb Fine chopped garlic
      2 ts Fine chopped ginger

MMMMM---------------------FINISH MARINADE---------------------------
    1/2 c  Plain yogurt
    1/4 c  Heavy cream
    1/4 c  Fine chopped red onion
      1 tb Crushed garlic
      1 ts Fine chopped ginger
      1 tb Lemon juice
    1/4 ts Ground turmeric
      1 ts Ground chile
    1/2 ts Garam masala
    1/2 ts White pepper

  Equipment: 4 metal or wooden skewers that have been soaked
  Non-reactive (glass) baking dish.

  Whisk together the lemon juice, garlic and ginger. Place
  prawns in a shallow baking dish and cover with the marinade.
  Let sit 15 minutes.

  Drain and pat the prawns dry.

  Mix together all ingredients for finishing marinade. Place
  prawns back in the baking dish and cover with the marinade.
  Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.

  Thread 4 shrimp on a skewer and grill for 3 to 4 minutes
  on each side.
