There are several files related to the recipes.  They have names like
index.mme, direct.mme, etc.

I don't know anything about vista other than a few (mostly bad) things
I've heard.  Maybe someone else can tell you how to get a DOS program
running there.

Don't do that.

I don't know of any such program.  There are other recipe programs that
use MM format for export, but I doubt that they use the same data files
that MM uses (the *.mme files).

Do this for me.

Open a command window.  In XP you can do this by clicking on the start
button, then select "run" and type in cmd and hit enter key.

change to the directory where your mm files exist.
e.g.
cd \mm

then execute the following command:
dir > dale.txt

That will put a copy of the names of all the files in that directory
onto a text file called dale.txt.

Attach that file to an email and send it to me.  I'll take a look and
see what I could suggest for you.

BTW -- last week, we sat at a table and had coffee de lait and a beignet
in your name while listening to the street musicians play outside of
cafe de monde at Jackson square in New Orleans.


MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: Pecan Blondies
 Categories: Dessert, Cookie
      Yield: 1 servings
 
  1 1/2 c  Firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c  Margarine or butter,
           -softened
      2 ts Vanilla
      2    Eggs
  1 1/2 c  All-purpose flour
      1 ts Baking powder
    1/2 ts Ground nutmeg
    1/4 ts Salt
    1/2 c  Chopped pecans
      1 tb Powdered sugar
 
  Heat the oven to 350F.  Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.  Beat the
  brown sugar and margarine in a large bowl until light and fluffy.  Add
  the vanilla nad eggs and blend well.  Add the flour, bakinf powder,
  nutmeg and salt, mixing well.  Spread enenly in the greased pan.
  Sprinkle the pecans over the top.
  
  Bake until set and golden brown, about 18 to 28 minutes.  Cool
  completely.  Sprinkle with the powdered sugar and cut into bars.
  
  Makes 36 bars.
  
  Per serving (bar):  90 calories; 1 g protein; 13 g carbohydrate; 4 g
  fat; 60 mg sodium.
  
  NOTE:  "The Term 'blondie' refers to a brownie containing no
  chocolate. Our version of blond brownies is moist and chewy, with a
  rich melt-in-your-mouth flavor."
