Hi Ruth,

Also things that that are taken care of last longer than things that get
minimal attention. That means cleaning filters and other maintainence as
needed. Hopefully this last trip to NY re-enforced the idea of rinsing
the big food food bits off dishes before putting them into the
dishwasher to my mom. We also showed her how to load it efficiently
(despite what the manual said) and got her some stainless steel
measuring cups/spoons that can go in it safely. She'd been putting her
aluminum ones in and they were getting rather corroded.

Seems that's the way t went. I'm reading ahead for my next class now.
Lots of reading & writing for it but no exams.

I'll have to post mine--got it from my MIL in 1992 and it's been made at
least once a year since.

His mom issort of hoping he will go in state instead to save tuition
costs but I guess he's got some financial aid coming. Also got word that
another nephew just got engaged, with wedding planned for October.

Pressed isn't bad; it cooks more evenly.  Went back to Sarah's cottage &
found an adjustable cheese planer (Onieda brand), brand new, dealer's
demo for $2.00, a pack of 2 (one large, one small) coil covers for about
50 cents and several pieces of fabric (including an all over cat print)
for $1.00 each.

-> Yes, or buy big hunks of meat & turn them into multiple dishes. Cleaned,
-> organised and inventioried the freezer today. Lots of basic stuff to
-> work with, will need to pick up odds & ends to finish the dish or round
-> out the meal once I get it planned.

 RH> Odds and ends I've got.  More odd than end in some cases.

We've got some odds, some ends and a right fair amount of meats.
