I clip everything I might use at some point, and then match those up to the
sales.  I have absolutely no brand loyalties on some items, so it's a case
sometimes of seeing what I can get for too cheap to leave it behind.  I
don't normally buy frozen soft pretzels for instance, but today they were
on sale for 99 cents. I had two 50-cent coupons that doubled, making them
free.  Free is my price point.  I can usually knock a good $10/week off
with coupons, sometimes more.

We used to have TRIPLE coupons sometimes (sigh), but that's gone.
