You fed her the best way you could. Some parents would panic and buy all
sorts of high priced foods that probably weren't anything much more than
what you did on a more basic level. She didn't look like she was
starving when I met her in 2008. (G)

We've had all sorts of crazy temperatures. It hit 81 earlier this week;
Monday it's supposed to be in the 50s.  And, we've had the wind too.
We're supposed to get some good rain tonight into tomorrow which should
help the major deficit and tone down the fire danger.

Did they make you say "ouch?"  I've had that sort (but not with a
rotator cuff) poking and prodding too many times to make it funny.
Anyway, I hope it heals fast and you won't need the surgery. That's a
pain in it's own right; Steve had it while we were in HI.

We're aiming for the 60s tomorrow. Steve did some "gardening" today,
getting the area ready where we want to plant the tomatoes and peppers.
We also picked up some lettuce (a variety of butter crunch) plants at
the farmer's market today that went into that plot.

I can come up with ideas but don't know how to put them together onto a
web page. That's your expertise.

My younger daughter would probably be able to tell me how to do it. The
older one would explain it like she were teaching it to a class. (G)

I've got a bit of a breather right now; my 7 week class is over. I've
got some sewing to do before I head out west next month, not sure if
I'll pick up any jobs or not in the down time. If not, I'm OK as I can
use the time to sew for myself or grandbabies.

We're a bit further south so stuff like that goes in earlier here. I've
heard about Crokett but never saw the show or read his book.
