Yesterday's paper had an article about a similar cracker recipe done by
a NC man. This one had crackers covered with cheese, then sprinkled
lightly with cayenne pepper. They were then broiled, let set, cut up and
reheated. Zesta saltines are, according to the guy that made them big in
his area, the only ones to use.

When we were growing up, my dad didn't do much cooking. He's taken over
more and more as Mom has trouble with it but neither of them are close
to gourmet cooks. Their cooking puts something into your stomach; that's
about all I can say.

Worked well for you then. I've got a full fridge right now from odds and
ends plus Steve made both chocolate & vanilla pastry creams to go with
the angel food cake he made to go with the strawberries we got the other
night.
