I got a one-shot antibiotic pill the last time. Saved grief.  There are
some that say some MS cases are related to Lyme Disease.  You can get the
infection without symptoms, or mistake it for something else if the
bullseye rash doesn't develop.

Most likely; I've found plenty of ticks on one of my cats, and a few dog

Eventually.  My sister decided to paint the wall with petroleum jelly as a
baby.  That came off when we steamed off the wallpaper.

It's a thought.  Either that or use Steve's least favorite vegetable. 
Smoked pork neck bones get used a lot here too.
