If that was allowed here, there would never be space at the pickup!
Seconds only, with the engine kept running.  The passengers must be
waiting at the curb, ready to jump into the cars.

Adelaide used to be like that for many years, until the airport
people, state government and Adelaide Metro all managed to get their
act together and brave the wrath of the taxi drivers and divert the
passing buses into the airport terminal, thus bringing Adelaide up to
the standard of accessibility of most European airports.

USAn airports seem to be very badly served by public transport; in the
main just the expensive alternatives that you listed.

I am surprised that an anti-freeze coolant would still work at that
temperature.  I understand the lack of battery energy.

If the motorbike had a kick starter, that would help.  In your case,
you could keep a small, electric air compressor in your Ford, so once
you manage to start the motor with your jumper leads (also kept in the
car) from some kindly passing motorist, you could then pump up the
tyres and be on your way.

I keep those items in my car, even though I never have to put up with
temperatures lower than 0C.  I have occasionally left lights on while
parked if I have been driving in rain, which can result in a flat bat.
