that's OK--we got home last Wed. night and I'm still trying to get
caught up on Fido. Catching up on other stuff, I tend to let Fido go and
catch as catch can for a bit. Things are settling down tho so I'll be
back on, on a more regular basis.

I doubt any sewing was done. I brought some hand work on our trip but
didn't touch it.

It's required in a lot of places now, probably Rochester, but you got in
before the law was passed.

We had scrapple & eggs the first night back. Had Chubby's bbq pastrami
for lunch; we'd stopped there in May but the pastrami was new to the
menu since then.

Today was humid but not that hot, and wet. I spent several hours making
salsa (3 1/2 pints) and had a fan going in the kitchen. All the major
stuff (tomatoes, peppers & onions) came from the famer's market.


 RH> Had supper tonight at Cracker Barrel with our friends;
 RH> did a fair amount of catching up but still a lot of gaps to fill in.

 NB> That's the way it is when it's been that long... seems sometimes like
 NB> there never will be enough time to fill in all the gaps... :)

But now we have each other's e-mails so catch up should be better.
