That conversation was reaching a technical level that would probably make most
of the participants in here get glazed eyes.  In a nutshell, there has been
problem for years with Internet Rex (the program many of us use to handle BBS
mail via the Internet and that hasn't been updated in about 10-11 years now)
under OS/2.  Internet Rex uses a batch file to process mail in a mail event and
for some reason, under OS/2, this particular batch file will become locked,
meaning that OS/2 thinks that another program is using the file and is not
allowing Internet Rex, who is actually using the file, to work.

That, in turn, causes a massive mail backup until I manually toss the mail and
then I have to reboot the BBS machine to "unlock" the file.  It's a real PITA
but it doesn't happen much.  I usually get an email from Dirty Dave telling me
that the BBS has gone south again when this happens. :)

That would be fine as a "side dish" but I wouldn't want to really go too deeply
into details here with some of the stuff I work on.  Now talking about Gourmet
would be okay in here, I think, because it is something most of us could use.
I've used Gourmet before and once the MM stuff is fixed, it's a very nice
program for both Linux and Windows.

You're welcome.  I made that once and it was delicious.

I think that is a typo.  There is only supposed to be one can of beans; I'll
check that later tonight.  Since today is my birthday, I was given a bit of a
reprieve at work and instead of coming in at 8 AM, I'm coming in at 11 AM (it's
8:10 Am now).  So I'm using this time to get a few errands run but wanted to
check the BBS first.  It's a habit I have: I check email and then peek on the
BBS before I leave every morning.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Broccoli Cheese and Ham Breakfast Casserole
 Categories: Ham, Breakfast, Casseroles, Cheese, Dairy
      Yield: 6 Servings

     12 sl Frozen bread
    3/4 lb Old English cheese; (Kraft
           -sliced)
      1    Box (9 Oz.) frozen broccoli
           -chopped; cooked
      2 c  Cubed or shaved ham
      6    Eggs; slightly beaten
  3 1/2 c  Milk
    1/2 ts Salt
      1 ts Dry mustard

  Butter 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Use biscuit cutter to cut bread into
  circles. Set aside. Use scraps to cover bottom of dish.

  Layer 2 - cheese slices. Layer 3 - ham. Layer 4 - broccoli. Layer 5 -
  circles of bread.

  Combine eggs, milk, salt, dry mustard. Mix. Pour over layered
  ingredients making sure the bread slices are saturated. Cover with
  foil and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 325 degrees for 55 minutes.
  Take out and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika. Bake for
  another 5 minutes or until golden brown and firm.
