Which Key Lime is one of...  ;)  And there's also mango trees in
people's back yards...

I'd not argue any of that.  :)  My friend seems to be more the exception
than the rule, and as I've stated, her family may well have moved there
from a more truly southern state.  That said, her other "native" cuisine
is the Cuban which indeed is dominant around the Miami area, where both
her mom and her husband's mom (he also grew up there) live...  Randy's
mom might be more of a northern transplant, but they lived there for
most of his growing up years at least.  Both of them gravitate to real
southern cooking or Cuban, when available...  but are also relatively
adventurous as well...  We do Thai, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean,
other asian, Mexican, Domincan, Jamaican and other hispanic, etc with
them...  And her favorite asian cuisine is Vietnamese...  :)

Don't forget Chick-Fil-A...  :)   That apparently is Linda's mom's
favorite place to eat out...  ;)
