I know what dirt is. There's dirt (soil)  that very rich in nutrients,
etc that's good for growing in. Then there's the dry, dusty, nutrient
poor dirt which is what we've got in our back yard.

I still don't think even mint would grow well in our yard. I'll just let
it do its thing in the "garden patch"; we won't be in that house
forever and maybe a future tenant will improve the yard to be decent.

I get my OTCs in other places, same place where I get a lot of my basic
groceries.
