Cholesterol is just another fat. Your body makes it from the building 
blocks you give it. My cholesterol levels (if not taking a statin) are 
stable at 130/30 no matter what I eat, it seems. But, the croakers got 
all excited about getting me under 100 total for the cholesterol levels. 
So, I take a statin and they are all smiles.

Does Steve take a statin? I've been seeing/hearing a lot on the news and 
at interweb sites like WebMD that statins reduce the risk of a second 
stroke dramatically.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Bacon & Egg Fried Rice
 Categories: Pork, Eggs, Rice, Vegetables
      Yield: 4 servings

      3 c  Cooked rice; brown or white
      5 sl Bacon; in small pieces
      3 lg Eggs
      3    Green onions; in 1/4" pieces
      3 tb Soy sauce
      3 tb Oil
           Pepper & salt

  In large skillet fry pieces of bacon until crisp, drain,
  set aside. Set bacon on a plate and clean the skillet for
  reuse.

  Beat eggs in cup and scramble in a little oil in the
  skillet. Set scrambled eggs on a plate and clean the
  skillet for reuse.

  Heat remaining oil in pan and add cooked rice. Toss rice
  to coat and add some soy sauce. Add eggs, bacon pieces and
  pepper. Add salt if desired - but remember... the soy
  sauce is really salty already. Stir and continue to cook
  for a couple minutes.

  Add onions at the end so they don't overcook.

  Makes 4 servings

  Great as both the main course or a as a side dish. This
  could be served for any meal, but we tend to have it at
  breakfast with leftover rice from the night before.
