OTOH, I probably would have done better with Deborah than if Steve had
tried to school her. She's so much like her dad that it would not have
been a good mix. As is, I taught the girls enough about cooking that
they pretty much took over the cookie/cake baking after a while. Rachel
had junior high home ec (didn't do much cooking tho) but Deborah missed
it thanks to our moves.

Good books for kids to learn basic reading skills.

They were no boil sheets, whole wheat--some I picked up at Whole Foods.
No curly edges on them either. Usually I cook my noodles only half way;
the sauce adds the liquid for cooking them the rest of the way. These
tasted somewhat rubbery.
