I read this echo occasionally, not often and not regularly.

Perhaps "on Cuba's meeting" should read something like "at a meeting in
Cuba"; 'cheerlider' should be 'cheerleader,' in US english it's two words 
'cheer' and 'leader' run together - they're usually only seen leading cheers
at athletic events.

No.  You should use it if you say "the forces of terrorism," it makes no
grammatic
sense to say "the terrorism."  "The terrorist" is correct, though.

It depends on whether you are referring to the present or to the future.  "You
see the same jumping and clapping" refers to the present, "you will see the
same jumping and clapping" refers to some future time.

Insofar as political correctness is concerned I pretty much agree with
