  No Alexander...I have never heard of Fidolook.   All I have is the
QWKmail offline readr by Blue Wave...from the DOS days.

  Well it is better to have progress by peaceful means when new ideas
come along, then by violence.   Revolutions via peaceful means is
always better, so if the citizens find it not the right way, they
can have an election and go another route.

  The demonstrations certainly had an effect, but so did the body-bags
and the very conduct of this undeclared war.   "Only" congress has the
power to declare war.  Vietnam was a nasty business and ...well still
very sad.

  Lenin never wanted Stalin to lead the USSR, so there is no doubt
perhaps the USSR might have turned out differently.   We have a
group called the Amish in Canada, and they operate indepedent and
as a commune for the common good of the community...yes Communism,
but not what Stalin turned it into.   It seems so many have copied
him to the wonderful that those countrys citizens are just having
a fun time.

  There was a show on TV here, produced by Russian TV, about the
"gulags".  What an eye opener, and they told everything, good
and bad...mostly bad.   It certainly shocked me, all the picture
cards kept of the people that disappeared .  Just for thinking.

   Yes ...only I watched the National Geographic movie on that,
where they showed an interesting stone wall with holes and a shelf
at the bottom, which was that closed ballot box.  It helped I
guess keep people's voting secret..but then they were not
elected representatives but required as all Greeks were to
serve in the decision making of the city states...yes the
first signs of democracy.

  Yes.  Unfortunately that is so so true.   If you follow the party
line, and what Big Business wants, you have many choices after you
leave politics...That is called the "Golden Handshake"  the slap on
the back thank you...here is a great job....lotsa cash, and ....

  And I always thought that Russia was cold then here.   Trees spouting
buds.... when this Greenhouse ends, you will be a tropical country
with lots of visitors from the now tropical countrys...mmmm...well
there goes my chance to sell them skates,and sweaters, pucks and
sticks...I'd have to wait too long.
