   Really rich people have big corporations, or are a part of said
corporation.  They profit from wars, by selling the means to carry
on a war.  Since these rich people are a part, and are only driven
by money and gain, it is in their best interests to support whatever
party that gets them more.   If the party they support wins, then 
they get contracts.

   I always thought tenders were supposed to be awarded, but friends
of this or that member of the cabinet, or in the legistative or senate
will swing votes to this or that company, and especially if the company
has supported the party that is governing.

   The documentary was interesting, and yes I wish there had been an 
independent follow up on the Stalin years.   Lennin had his ideas and
it was working, but then after he died, well then came the Stalin years
and there are enough people from that time that escaped, all saying the
same things.

  Ah yeah the coupons for state owned material and factorys was interesting.

 I just look at the French resistance as an example.

 The threat was there.  Now it isn't and we have this mess.  Looking into
the east from Berlin, it was evident who's citizens were better off.  Never
once saw anyone going east, other then across the bridge in a spy exchange.

  We have flats here too.  And we can also get homes, and then for 30years
pay mortgages for these homes, or even rent.

  True.  We had spys too.  The big difference is, we're an open society.
If you wanted an atomic sub plans, it was easy just to buy a well detailed
model, as pointed out many times. No need to spy.   Many top secrets as you
put it, were never found.

  I think of the Stream as curent, as in a river.  It mixes with other
waters and then is transferred to shore.

  El nino is out there, and it has been a rather big one this year with
the images taken during the year.    As for human causes, well that will
be realized too late.   The end of humans will either be polution or 
garbage.  War would be too humaine.
