Men like him have a problem.  They do things that seem completely illogical,
which is plainly obvious in this case.  If he hadn't fallen for this bait, he
would have gone somewhere else and been molesting a real child instead.  In
many cases, it's not their first time.  And any man willing to travel across
the globe to molest a child has probably done it before.  Possibly even in
America.
 
Had he not been the victim of his own twisted desires, he would have never
fallen for it, and never come here, and never been justly arrested.

Something _would_ have happened.  He would have molested somebody else.

The internet not only goes to that man's country but it comes into ours just
the same.  He approached an American citizen to solicit sex from a minor. Those
sorts of stings wait for the predators to message them, to avoid entrapment
accusations.  So he is almost entire likely to have initiated the contact, and
therefore he "stepped onto American soil" as far as the internet is concerned.

The man didn't have to be invited, it was probably his idea.  In all of these
incidents I've seen, it's the predator who initiates discussion of a meet- up.

All he had to do was stay home.
 
Besides, I don't see his country calling foul, so I don't know why anyone else
is.  One more sicko off the streets.
