Please tell us why the U.S. government *and* the Russian
government refuse to destroy the smallpox sample that each
country has in its possession.

Why develop or modify a virus when the government is already in
possession of a live sample?  The government already knows what
smallpox will do, given the last time it caused a pandemic.

Many black folks in America (including the Rev. Jeremiah Wright)
believe the U.S. govermment intentionally exposed Africans to the
AIDS virus - which was created in government labs and given to
apes who were then let loose in the Congo.

It's called culling the herd.  Either we do it ourselves, or nature
will do it for us.

Makes for bad PR if caught.  Better to give plausible denial.  Or make
those who claim an injustice has been done to be kooks.  That is why the
Rev. Jeremiah Wright was made out to be un-American and a fool.

Adolf Hitler and his Nazi thugs said much the same thing about the
Jews (and others whom they persecuted).  Even FDR did not believe that
Hitler was sending Jews to death camps, etc.  Until Albert Einstein
and other Jews filled him in with hard evidence of what was going on.
