The ZC's typically exchange segments with each other mid week or so, so that
each has data to generate a diff each thu/fri for their own zones..

As a RC, when times were busier, I used to submit to the ZC 2 segs a week, one
on Tuesday to push out changes to get to the other zones and once again on
thursdays to get the changes included in our zone, this insured that by friday,
any changes I had submitted had populated throughout the entire network..

I no longer worry with this as changes arent as often as they used to be..

I think what you need to take from this, instead of trying to play the
mediator, is that:

A.

A glitch on Wards system is showing an anomalous entry in his part of the
nodelist and has been confirmed in 2 other zones, but is not being reflected in
his own zone. He is making no efforts to say it is a glitch, but is instead
trying to play up the Fidonews controversy, as if that relates.


B.

He purposely submitted a different seg to zones 1,3 and presumably 4 and 5,
that differs from data he is publishing inside his own zone..

I have obtained nodelists from a system in z2, from a sysop who is not involved
in the political bickering, and his IC listing is absent, as Me-too also can
attest to.

If this is purposeful, then this should raise quite a few eyebrows, including
Van Der Spocks, which of course it isnt...

Also Ward is no stranger to using his office as ZC to wield and use its big
stick to further an agenda..

Did you know that when his country (Belgium) made available a internet TLD name
.be and that Steven Leeman beat Ward to the punch by registering fidonet.be,
that Ward threatened Steven with excommunication ?? I do and for a week, had
Steven listed here in r18..

Most of us thought the old Ward was gone, well he reincarnated himself..
