I didn't say that. I just said that white clouds reduce significantly 
the sun radiation on the planet surface. I even read an article that 
told us that even the jet planes vapor tails are an important factor in 
reflecting sun rays from the Earth because we have such a lot of flying 
planes. The study was made in the days when all flights were prohibited 
in the US after well-known terror attacks. Although I am a bit sceptical 
about this research. ;)

You need to look for the Venus Bond albedo, which is 0.9. That's why 
Venus is the brightest object on the sky (after the Sun and the Moon).

This point of view can be easily destroyed. It's enough to try to 
explain the origin of that enormous amount of gases the Venus atmosphere 
consists of. First, such a small body as Venus, so close to the sun, so 
defenseless against the merciless solar wind -- it cannot keep such a 
great atmosphere for a long time. The molecules escape into space very 
quickly; the Earth passed a similar stage long ago and lost much gases 
even under magnetic field defense. It means that the Venus atmosphere 
had appeared not very long ago, as a result of a catastrophic event. A 
great tectonic activity followed it and it had born the present Venus 
atmosphere. Only this model can explain the appearance of such a great 
atmosphere on Venus. Since then the Venus looks like a vacuum flask 
keeping its the heat of that catastrophe.

Another point -- as the Soviet space probes got it -- they had measured 
that only a very small part of the sun light riches the surface. An 
overcast day on earth is ten times brighter than the illumination on the 
Venus surface. Gases, clouds keep heat poorly (low heat capacity) The 
temperature of the atmosphere is much lower that on the surface. The 
high temperature on Venus is only on its surface. What does it mean? Its 
easy -- a positive temperature always spreads from the hight temperature 
area to the low temperature area. In other words the Venus surface is 
the source of heat.
