You are paranoid.

not follow up on it (AFAIK).

mr. logic, What _is_ the reason he needs another node number?  After all these
years of operating as point when in Montana, which would seem to serve him
well.

And don't give me the foolish idea that because he's a boat counselor at boy
scout camp, he needs one to encourage young boys to apply to Fidonet (the boat
counelor job will end shortly I might add).  That is malarky.  How many boys
have applied in the U.S. for a node number without Ward having a node number
over here??  I can tell you the number is plenty.

He wasn't denied a node number.  He never applied again AFAIK.  And shock! It
didn't matter, he's still posting with his point number.    _If_ someone
asked me my opinion, _and they haven't_, I would say no, Ward does not need a
node number in Zone 1.  That's just my opinion based on what I can see (Ward is
capable of running as a point and has posted with that point address).

Not true.  He was disconnected from that echo because of his behavior in Z1C.
You and he say you have links to Z1C.  Find the message where I informed him
that he had lost his priveleges in that echo.  There is no reason he needs a
link to that echo, nothing in there concerns him.
