It was a wonderful era while it lasted, with some really good people! (sysops
AND users included!)

Sad to see it shrink so much, though. . . :'(

 This test is to find out if you are a user or a use-r. After you take
 the test, the scoring will explain how the two are different. Just add
 up the total of the numbers of the answers you pick.

A: Registering shareware:
1. I register everything I use at all.
2. I register everything I use to any extent.

1. I try to stop by and amuse the sysop when I call.

3. I answer my mail.
4. I ask questions, is about it. And ask for more time.

E: General:
1. I try to think of ways to make it better for everybody.
2. I do something for someone else pretty often.
3. I have helped someone out.
4. I try to avoid helping anyone out.

Score: Possible scores are from 5 to 25, unless you are one of the
people who posted recently about what is 2% and etc, in which case God
only knows what score you might come up with.

5. You are the kind of person bbs's are there for. You don't even
understand the use-rs. You will never be one.
10. You're definitely not a use-r, but you could possibly turn into
one. It would be bad. Take care.
15. You're a use-r but there is hope. Try and see if you can relate to
some of those 1. answers. You are not beyond the pale, but your soul is
in danger.
20. Someone who thinks you can be saved has a lot of faith in the
infinite capacity for human redemption. You're a use-r, and a bad one.
No sysop wants you to call. Shape up if you can.
25. You are a confirmed use-r. I doubt even Jesus wants you to call his
bbs. You are basically a complete asshole. Please log off, well, drop
carrier -- you don't log off, do you? -- and smash your modem for the
greater benefit of the bbs community. Not only does no sysop want you
to call, they would be glad to hear you had been run over by a garbage
truck. And most likely if you were, they would throw you in back and
take you where you belong.
