This new IP addressing sounds great. I jiust wonder how it's going to

Fido (Fidonet) Technical Network. Not just Fidonet, but any network
that uses the Fidonet technology to transport mail/files and such.
It's more generic and covers more area. :)

No hardware router. ICS handles the routing and firewall. It's not
really configurable on the routing end.

What you have to understand about my network is: It is all run on
Windows 98. It is all BNC cable. There is no hardware router. The main
BBS syste handles the DSL, BBS/FTN and the ICS stuff. That computer is
a P200 MMX with a bit over 128 meg of memory. There are 5 computers
connected to the LAN. I've been told by "professionals" that I can't
do what I'm doing. :)

I do have a HW router and the stuff to convert to CAT5, but I'm
waiting until I rearrange the house and put the computers in a room of
their own. :)

ICS config (icscfg.exe) is the program. One can also create .INF files
and install them.
