Martin, you're wasting your time even answering his nonsense. He just
likes to argue for the sake of it. Anyone who has had any experience of
communicating with him for any length of time has him filtered out. After
all these years of posting in FIDO and ILink I finally had to place
someone in my kill filter.

I got a laugh out of that. Wine has been around a lot longer than
Linspire. And, BTW, I doubt the folks at Linspire tweaked Wine - they're
just using it and offering it for download. As with most of their CNR
downloads the software is either open source or free. CNR just makes it
easier to install.

He's just spouting off again. He contends that those who received
Linspire for free shouldn't look for other free software? Maybe he needs
to be reminded that the software available via CNR is for the most part
open source or free.

You are correct. In any event, regardless of how one obtained Linspire -
either by paying for it or downloading a copy during their free offer,
buying and using the CNR service is an option. Because I purchased WinXP
and MS Office Pro, does that mean I should have rushed right out and
purchased a subscription to their MSDN service? Showing others how to
save money by not having to purchase the Linspire CNR service is not
illegal nor does it violate any licensing agreement with them.

If others wish to purchase the CNR service that's their choice. If Mr.
Angelich feels Linspire is not getting their just due, he's welcome to
purchase as many copies as he wishes and to additionally support their
efforts by purchasing the CNR "Gold" service for each copy.

As I said above, you're wasting time by even responding to him. It's kind
of too bad because he could provide something of value here and in Win95.

Regards.
