So what, he shares your hate of a GUI, he also fishes his computer equipment
out of the garbage, its not like he can afford computers that have the
horsepower to do a gui.

So how do the other posters really know when either of you are being lucid, I
mean no offense in the construct of the question but how does a mad man know he

No what I said is the dealers you talk about will simply not point out the fact
that rebates would exist in their signage or ads.

Wayne related to the fact that his Western Digital HDD had a rebate that he
didnt submit for, was that hdd an inferior drive?

Sandisk, a well known and very reputable manufacturer of flash card memory and
USB flashdrives offers rebates on their products, I'd hardly call their
products inferior.

Hewlett Packard, routinely offers rebates on their products, including printers
and scanners, I'd hardly call them inferior. Although jury could be out on
their desktop and laptop computers, depending on who you ask.

Maxtor, Seagate, Lacie also, I'd hardly call their products inferior.

Motorola, a premier name in radios and cellphones offers rebates on their
products, again, not inferior.

Kodak, Nikon, Vivitar, Canon and Olympus routinely offer rebates on their
digital cameras, I'd hardly call them inferior.

Oh and every car manufacturer (Foreign and domestic to our continent) offers
rebates.

A rebate doesnt mean inferior products, I have debunked you.

In your case, just save your stamps.
