Ärende: Re: AT&T says they can't provide DSL?!?!?
=================================================
From: Joe Hunt <jhunt@dslextreme.com>

If AT&T can provide you service, and they are providing the wireless
router/modem, they are probably the best bet. They'll support that
configuration.

With DSLExtreme, I doubt you'd have any problem despite the fact that they say
they don't officially support a third party router. I have a static ip
address, though, so I can't say from experience. But, most people have similar
setups (i.e. dsl modem attached to router, getting a dynamic ip address) which
work fine. That's the configuration used by my friend in Silver Lake (although
AT&T) and when I originally set it up for her, she had a separate modem and a
D-Link router. I swapped them for the 2Wire device at a later time.

Setting up the router is pretty straightforward, and you have Geo for tech
support!
