   Messenger?  What is your message?  You complain that you think =
something is wrong without being able to identify what is right.  There = is no
message here.

   You then go on to complain that the only way you could ever have even =
a suggestion for what is right, even though you are sure what is wrong, = is to
have a year and money.  That is sad.

   This isn't a usability issue.  Users are infecting themselves via =
their own purposeful actions.  As the lead in to the article that = started
this thread made clear, users wanted something and did what it = took to get
it.  They were lied to about what they were going to get.  = They would have
been warned and asked to confirm they they trust what = they are getting and
would have had to assert that they do.  So, what = are you going to do?

   There are obvious conclusions.  Just consider why your machine is not =
infected when you run the same software.  You exercise better judgement. =
 Would you claim that car accidents from DUIs are due to a problem with =
the cars or the drivers?  Are the folks that have not been DUI lucky = their
car didn't make them DUI or might they exercise better judgement?

   If you just wanted to complain that there are plenty of people that =
exercise bad judgement that would be OK.  If you wanted to go further = and
claim that you want to take away their choice so that they can't = exercise bad
judgement then I would question if you are happy with that = choice being taken
away from you too?
