JH> That's not Wal-Mart policy, Gary. If such things are going on, its

JH> Back when King Kong came out on DVD, one of the local pizza joints had a

JH> customer service. This was at about 10am. At 11:30 I got a call from
JH> the manager of my local store - at home - profusely apologizing for what
JH> had happened. He told me to bring the coupon back and it would be

JH> a variety of things retail, the new store, etc. He was a nice guy, and
JH> truly sorry about how I had been treated. Oh, and the customer service
 JH> chick got the axe.

JH> If you get treated that way, send their corp office an email. You'll be
JH> surprised at how quick it gets fixed.

A friend had a similar problem with a DVD and the manager did indeed take care
of the problem.

There are 6 Walmarts in my area. They are all exactly the same, save one. An
old one was made into a Super Walmart. Its clean and open.

I hope it will not fall into the same rut.

I guess its some kind of regional thing.

A friend who shops there on a daily basis calls Walmart: Prozac Nation. The
employees walk around like zombies.
