And just why do you think that is, Lee?  How about socialism?  Unions. 
Welfare.  Government entitlements to people who do nothing to deserve them. 
Guaranteed minimum wage, excessive government taxation, etc.  Why is it
everytime they force an increase in minimum wage down our throats, it becomes a
little bit harder to make ends meet?

Affirmative action is a joke.  It puts people in positions they are unqualified
and untrained to hold, and forces the burder of doing their jobs onto their
coworkers.  It created artificial criteria that had nothing to do with skill or
achievement and everything to do with pure chance based on your skin color,
sex, or ethnic ancestry.  Affirmative action protected and advanced people who
were incompetent and uneducated from the natural selection process of
advancement that made America the greatest economic force in the history of the
world.

Liberals love competition as long as THEY don't have to compete by the same
rules as everybody else.  They love it as long as the game is rigged in their
favor.  The two biggest wrongs anybody could possibly do to the poor and
disadvantaged is to advance them through school without actually making them
demonstrate required proficiency at each level, and then to give them a job
they are not qualified for that pays more than its worth.  Doing so cheapens
the value of everybody's work up and down the line, and is a net drag on our
nation's economic health.  It also makes it harder and harder for those people
to be retrained for jobs that require ever higher technical skills as
technology and automation eliminates jobs.
