Liberals do not just whine about fixing social security.  Liberals
actually do fix it, as the need arises.

There is a cardinal rule in politics - once you give something away,
you can't take it back.  The same is true of social security.

The predominantly Democratic Congress approved FDR's social security
plan.  By a wide margin.

FDR's social security plan was approved in the 30's.  And improved
upon since then.  Especially by the addition of medicare in 1965, thanks
to another great Demoratic president known as LBJ.

Bush has no plans to "fix" social security, but rather of ending it.
