 Well, when you get right down to it, what you said above was
 wrong, which makes it worthless. Nothing you posted from the
 report said he didn't maintain speed, it said he didn't mainatin
 *A* speed... Not the same thing. See, you misquoted, and that's
 where you go wrong.

 If you had assumed that you would have said so. I not only do
 not believe you even suspected vector analysis, but I'd bet you
 have no idea what we are talking about. That is, unless you
 looked it up on the web. That took you so long you just now got
 around to mentioning vector analysis.

 Since the error was yours, I had no reason to duck the question.

 Oh, just using a convenient degree of bank in the turn, with a
 45 degree turn he needed about 40% more lift to maintain
 altitude.

 Oh, it's easier to use a right triangle calculation. Just in
 case you were looking to actually do the math.

 Oh, just what control surface does the pilot engage to actually
 turn the aircraft? Just wondering if you know.
