============================
Hi, James! Recently you wrote in a message to Ardith Hinton:

JB> I just found out Cheddar is a region in England.
JB> As is most of the other cheese names; identified
JB> by where they were first incarnated.

Quite possibly. Gouda, for example, is a place in the Netherlands...
and whatever happened in Monterey a long time ago there is a cheese named after
it too. With a more detailed atlas, I could... whoa! We have one. ROAD ATLAS
OF GREAT BRITAIN. I see Stilton, Wensley(dale), Gloucester, Cheshire.... :-))

JB> Not "Blue" by my knowledge, but there is likely a
JB> few more destinctive names, isolating different
JB> locals under the "Blue" label. <?>

Uh-huh... I like Danish blue cheese sometimes, and Stilton is another
blue cheese which Dallas's grandfather liked. We gave up on the latter when we
found the mould spread to other comestibles in the vicinity... [chuckle].

JB> I seem to recal something about the colour of butter
JB> turning as the seasons do

As I understand the situation humans can manufacture vitamin D in the
presence of sunshine. Here in the coastal rain forest there's less sunshine in
winter. Even in Calgary, where you probably get much more sunshine than we do,
the rays of the sun are less direct. And according to some sources humans need
vitamin D in order to assimilate vitamin A. It's my guess cows do too.... :-)

JB> There's a tune of harmony in your statement.

That is my intention! The thought also occurred to me that you might
crave salt because it helps the body absorb a number of other minerals.... :-)

[re Hammond organ]
JB> You see what kind-a friends I associate with?

Birds of a feather... [chuckle]. Years ago, Dallas & were playing in
PIRATES OF PENZANCE. We needed two "A" clarinets (used primarily in orchestral
work... i.e. not what we do 99% of the time). We were able to borrow one. And
although we were willing to buy another, we didn't want to spend a lot of money
on it. Dallas went to a local music store & found one for $25. That was about
the amount we'd had in mind. The owner made sure he realized the price was "as
is" because a number of levers didn't work. To an experienced clarinet player,
the reason was obvious... a bent bridge key. Beginners often forget how to put
the parts together without getting them tangled up. So Dallas straightened the
key with his fingers... the clarinet worked perfectly... and he said "I'll take
it!" in less time than I took writing this sentence. As he was leaving, he saw
the owner heading for the repair department with a grim look on his face. What
Dallas did in a few seconds probably increased the value by over $100.... :-))

JB> Today, my "F-ed up Ford" has the serial number ending
JB> in a "666-9". I've beeen toying with a paint scheme
JB> including an "El Diablo" or "The Beast" declaration.
JB> I wonder how I gravitate to these situations?
JB>  <G+Pray fervently. B->

Maybe because you're a Youngest & you enjoy playing the Bratty Little
Brother... or maybe because you know more about numerology than other folks do!
There are letters and/or numbers besides what you mentioned. Has anybody tried
adding them all up, considering the whole picture? Somehow I doubt it.... ;-)
