Yes, I have a copy in my filebase; version 1.25 (2001).  I can't say I ever had
a look at it; mind you, I can't remember much of whatever happened yesterday
either.  :)  I also have the _binkD_ 'mailer' add-on for APoint which adds the
_binkP_ protocol to the point package (it's a commonly found Fidonet IP
protocol capability, amongst nodelisted systems).

The only point setup that ever lasted more than 10 minutes here (not counting
SemPoint) was a thing called: "Fido-Package deluxe" (FPD) version 2.7, by
Michael Haase.  Its webpage is at:

If you're a natural speaker of der Deutche lingo, then fine.  Else, look for
the English version (option) on the page.  :)

I still have it configured (as one of my points) in the Windows dual-boot on
this machine though I no longer have a need for it.  If you thought APoint was
'techy' then FPD complicates matters by a factor of about 600% by comparison,
though it comes with a nicely-matched packaging of: the binkD Fidonet IP
mailer; the HPT Fidonet echomail tosser; the FastLst nodelist compiler; and,
the excellent GoldEd message editor (of course, 'cause I use it).

It's aimed at the European community, particularly for German users/point
operators.  The author was a bit surprised that I'd had a go at it, and was
interested in what changes I made to get it to work.  Anyhow, that's besides
the point...

I agree, but only -after- the ZOC/BW or mTel/SemPoint combinations have turned
belly-up as options first.  ;-)
