Hi Ruth!

>> > Computers would give me a challenge tho. I'm more right brained and

>> It's probably why Ron and I were able to teach ourselves as much as we
>> did.

> As in you are very left brained? Steve is as left brained as I am right
> which makes life interesting at times.

I'm not sure if I am or not :) I think sometimes that Ron and I are cross
between the two (g).

>>> have two little muppets that are named just like one of my dogs, and
>>> one of my cats.. the puppet characters were named first.. Toby and
>>> Tina.. Toby is a dope.. Tina is a PIA.. we really HAD to name them
>>> that because that is exactly the personality they have haha

>> Poor kitty! (G)

> budge? Ths was on the road to a busy marina.

Wow :) Patient truck drivers, that's for sure!! :)

>> Yep, understand :)

That would be so neat.. I have Corel Draw here, and I think sometimes about
creating embroidery designs.. if I had the time, it would be nice (g).

Geez.. We miss a bit of the old world here in the states I think..

At the time, Warwick (the village) was maybe 1000 people.. but I'd have to
check the old census reports to be sure.. That is my memory of it though, at
the time :)

>>> me is so sad. But my kids did see me growing things from

Oh yeah, I know the forced-labor problem haha. They love having their own
"rows" in the beds, and take care of them with pride.. it's neat to see.

>> > when I was growing up so I had no problems doing it after Steve and

>> Super! That was one of the BIG complaints with that "bad" edition of
>> the Joy of Cooking.. Ethan had removed the entire canning section :(
>> I guess he heard about that (g)

I use it a lot for sure.. especially if the heat is getting to me, and I can't
work in the garden out in the sun, harvest stuff, and then come in and
immediately can it.. that can be a bit much :) I realize I'm not superwoman
(g). (maybe wonderwoman, though Lol).

>> She told me this weekend that she does use it 1:1 for sugar.. and she

Ok, sounds good.. I'm curious as to the texture it will give you..I'm not sure,
but I'd expect a more of a german type cake (perhaps like honey cake?) to be
the result..but I guess that depends on the other ingredients. To be honest, I
can't remember the exact texture of the Olive Oil cake I made with it, but it
was good :)

>> > use. What may be just sweet enough for us would not be for other

That makes sense :)

And I'd be careful in that choice for sure.. like I said, KA is not what it
used to be as far as quality control.. I really wanted to check out Bocsh more
as well.. they seem like the "army tank" of mixers, but not cheap, for sure.
I've seen reviews of KA and Viking, and you do see times when one or the other
is slammed by a person who's mixer croaked way to soon.

Yep, I sure did - So many people I grew up with thought that was Italian cheese
(g). You can't blame them, who's mom would go looking in the cheese aisle for
some strangely named cheese :)

Take care,
Janis
