Hmm, maybe it is a variety that is not that sweet..??? I dunno, I do see up 
here they offer several varieties. But I could not tell them apart. Just like 
oranges. You would think oranges would be oranges, except for Navel  or 
florida etc, but depending on when they pick them can make a difference. I 
even think in the rush to get them out, they paint some of them orange, and 
they are really green... Oops getting sidtracked <grin>

Yummmmm... 8)   I often see up here when the syrup is really running they 
have all these little area Maple farms open up these pancake joints just for 
the season. The Guy on our local news who does the vacation spots throughout 
the year, always takes the time in the spring to take You around via his film 
clips and show You all these restaurants and how they make the syrup right on 
the premises with the buckwheat cakes etc. Man that looks good!!

I have one of those osmosis filters, it is a pain to the affect that it has 
to be maintained every so often and at a fairly steep price. However to me and 
the amount of water I drink, I guess it is worth it. Fill a few jugs of this 
water and put in refrig, and it is good tasting stuff, to me anyway. And it's 
no where near what people pay for bottled water and to me tastes much better. 
But just tapwater here is not the greatest, although, I can't complain, when 
I lived out of the city, You could run into all kinds of strange waters. 
Mostly of the variety that have that sulfur smell etc. Yech!
