It's designed that way.  Bv)=  Even the places which advertise "Loosest Slots"
are set for about a 91% payout. Which means that they keep 9% of every dollar
run through them - at the end of the day. Of course they also bally-hoo "Our
slots paid out Umpteen Million Rasbukniks" without mentioning what the total
handle was and how much stuck to the "house".

I also don't play roulette wheels with both a "0" and a "00" (green) slot on
the wheel. A single zero gives the house it's percentage. The double zero is
just robbery.

One can go to the craps table, bet the "Don't Pass" line - and never handle
those galloping dominoes at all. Money can be made that way ... after all,
"don't pass" is the way the house bets - which is how they have all that fancy
casino to help clean the sucker's wallets.

It's also possible to make a bit at the Vingt et Un (blackjack) tables. But, if
you lose your stake, don't try to get even. They'll eat your lunch.  Bv)=

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Blackjack Bourbon-Peach Sauce
 Categories: Live!, Booze, Fruits, Bbq, Chilies
      Yield: 1 batch

    3/4 c  Peach preserves
    1/3 c  Sour mash bourbon
    1/3 c  Raspberry or other fruit
           - vinegar
      1 tb Lemon juice
    3/4 ts Ground nutmeg
    1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
    1/4 ts Salt
    1/4 ts Fresh ground pepper
      1 ts Hot pepper sauce; or more

  In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients except hot
  pepper sauce. Simmer over medium-low heat, stirring often,
  until lightly thickened, about 10 minutes. Stir in the hot
  pepper sauce to taste.
 
  The sauce can be made up to a month ahead and refrigerated.
  Reheat before brushing on during the last 10 minutes of
  grilling.
