I think the place we're thinking of does have a room for parties. I've
got to call them tomorrow to make arraingements--and will ask about a
limited menu. There'll be about a dozen people so we don't want to
overwhelm the cooks with a dozen different orders. Maybe a buffet of 2-3
entrees, bread, salad, drinks........................

Kid picked up too much of the style of how it was done before. Either he
gets a new job description or re-reads his old one, one of the 2
options, to find out how to keep his job.

Good; no charity likes to put a lot into a fundraiser only to have a low
turn out. Raleigh just had their annual marathon (IIRC, Leukeimia &
Lymphoma Society is the beneficiary of funds raised from it.) last week
end. They got some folks that were supposed to have run in the NYC
marathon (until Bloomberg got smart).

We know we won't be here forever but don't know what the next housing
will be. If it's 2 story, we know the lift is an option that works.

I'd reached the point where I was tired of having the wrist hurt so
much. Didn't realize how out of line it was or how much carpal tunnel
had set in until it really started bothering me this spring. Saw the
ortho doctor again today; he's very happy with the progress. He asked if
I was doing any sewing/quilting so I was able to tell him I was, with no
pain.
