Congrats to everyone involved.  Such occurrences accentuate your
status as patriach to the clan, and are good excuses for celebration.

At least your lot are all in the same country.  Some of my progeny
have been, rather unfashionably, having weddings about 9 plus or minus
3 months before the births, some of which are followed by
Christenings, and I have been expected to show up on those occasions -
two of each in New Zealand, one of each in Alice Springs, one in
Darwin and one in Manila.

All those demands keep me very busy, but I don't mind.  It makes me
sad to hear about some old people dying lonely deaths, and no one
knowing or caring...

      Title: Party Italian Wedding Soup
 Categories: Soups, Italian, Euro-w, Newsgroups, May.rec
      Yield: 4 Servings
 
     48 oz Chicken broth
     10 oz Spinach
      2    Onions
           ;chopped
      2 c  Chopped carrots
      2    Stalks celery
           ;chopped
      1 lb Boneless, skinless chicken
           Breasts
           ;OR thighs, cut in bite
           ;size pieces
      1 lb Ground beef
      1 c  Dry bread crumbs
      1    Egg
      1 c  Uncooked tiny pasta
           ;your choice
           Salt and pepper
 
  In a large pot over medium heat, combine the chicken broth, spinach,
  onions, carrots, celery and chicken. Mix well and allow to simmer. In
  a separate large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs and egg
  and mix well. Form mixture into 1/2 inch diameter meatballs and
  carefully drop them into the soup. Reduce heat to low and allow the
  soup to simmer for 1 hour. Add the pasta 30 minutes before serving
  and season with salt and pepper to taste. Makes 12 serving
