I just figure that life is a journey so I am going to enjoy the ride. No one
(as far as I know) gets out of here alive. So, other than "normal" maintenance
of the old body I don't worry too much. The only reason I even use Lite-Salt
(50-50 mix of potassium chloride and sodium chloride) is because I got a
container on a deep discount. I don't worry about fats and the like. I do eat
whole grain breads - because they have actual taste ... as opposed to Wonder
Bread (If it's good bread, it's a Wonder) type stuff.

 I'm capable of it and have done so in past. But, I don't make many desserts.
Usually the only time I make a pie, cake, or cookies is to take somewhere that
I have been invited for dinner, etc.

This is the first one I saw that asked for booze (or substitute) in the
ingredients. I've made flourless cakes a few times ... after the first they
were fairly successful - if pretty fudgy. Especially if you put walnut or pecan
halves on top.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Honey Whole Grain Bread
 Categories: Breads, Cheese, Nuts
      Yield: 16 Servings

      3 c  Unbleached flour
      2    Packages active dry yeast
  1 1/2 ts Salt
      1 c  Water
      1 c  Cottage cheese
      4 tb Butter
    1/2 c  Honey
      2 lg Eggs
  2 1/2 c  Whole wheat flour
    1/2 c  Regular rolled oats
    2/3 c  Chopped walnuts
 
  In large bowl, combine 2 cups unbleached flour with yeast
  and salt. Heat water, cottage cheese, butter and honey until
  very warm (120øF-130øF). Add warm liquid and eggs to flour
  mixture. Mix well. Add whole wheat flour, oats, and nuts.

  Stir in remaining unbleached flour (add more if necessary)
  and knead until smooth and elastic. Let rise until doubled.
  Punch down and place in two greased 5 1/4" X 9 1/4" X 3"
  pans.

  Let rise about 1 hour. Bake at 350øF/175øC for 35-40 mins.

  Remove from pans to cooling rack. Brush tops with butter.
